AOI Matcha’s journey began in the heart of Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, renowned as a hub of matcha
production excellence. In 2021, we expanded our operations to Kyoto, known for its prestigious Uji matcha. Our
organic tea leaves flourish in the fertile soils of Kagoshima, while our matcha is meticulously blended, graded,
and crafted from tea leaves cultivated along the scenic Pacific Ocean, spanning from Kagoshima Prefecture to Mie
and Shizuoka Prefectures.
Our mission is to skillfully blend these high-quality tea leaves, sourced in substantial quantities, to provide exceptional matcha at a reasonable cost. This commitment to quality is the cornerstone of our journey.

AOI Matcha, our esteemed manufacturer, holds prestigious certifications including the world’s highest food safety standard, FSSC 22000, as well as AIB Superior, Kosher, USDA Organic, and Halal certifications. Our factory proudly bears the “Halal” certification, ensuring compliance with stringent dietary requirements.
